JANOSEBA
In 1991 AD a tragic cyclone destroyed the Chittagong coast mercilessly. Coastal community of Chittagong seashore lost there everything. Air was full with the smell of departed bodies and the sight was full of massacre. It was great challenge to the community to restart their life. National and international organizations share their hands. Community people started again with new hope.
Natural calamity is a regular phenomenon to this community. Considering this fact a concerned local group of people thought to do something with own initiative to face regular challenges. Their initiative formed today’s JANOSEBA a prominent non-government organization of Bangladesh. With a commitment to change the life of ill-fated coastal people JANOSEBA started the journey with only two activists.
